From My Side of the Fence
Hey, I’m Kiwi.
I grew up around chipped mugs, backyard gardens, and music that came from real places. I’ve never been great at small talk, but I’ve always been good at sitting still with a story, especially the kind that sticks around for a while.
I don’t write songs to impress anyone. I write them because I need to. To make sense of things, to remember the quiet moments, and sometimes just to feel a little less alone. If you’ve ever stared at the ceiling at 2 a.m. or walked barefoot just to think straighter, you’ll probably get where I’m coming from.
My first album, Dawn in the Dust, was about roots: love, loss, and figuring out what actually matters.
My second album, Everything She Is., is about growth. Not the kind you post about, but the kind that shows up in who you’re becoming when nobody’s looking.
I don’t really know where this is all headed. But I’m glad you’re here.
Thanks for listening.
